WELCOME!

Hello and welcome. I’m so glad you are here. I trust that as you navigate the site you will gain a sense of my approach and my passion for mental health and well-being. In a nutshell, I provide Counselling for those of you who want a safe and unfiltered place to better understand, trust, and express yourself in a way that allows you to emerge reconnected to your own inherent wisdom.  

I want you to feel more fulfilled with who you are, what you do, and how you live. 

COUNSELLING

Who we are and how we move in the world is the result of the summation of our unique life experiences. These collective imprints impact every facet of our Being. They influence our sense of self-worth, the way we react in our interpersonal relationships, our feeling states, how we make decisions, how we interpret our worldview, the way we adapt to adversity and change, right down to how we take our coffee. In essence, we live a life of patterns. Sometimes, these patterns can be beneficial, other times self-defeating and emotionally destabilizing.

 

My role in our working relationship is to be a compassionate witness; to ask the right questions so that we can discern collaboratively what is working and what is getting in the way of where you want to be.

I strive to create the utmost safety for you to meet and explore these vulnerable layers of your being and to be seen and heard in an integral space while doing so. I hold the highest intention for you to reconnect to your inner resources, vitality, and capacity for connection and joy.

IFS THERAPY 

IFS (Internal Family Systems) is the main orientation with which I approach our work together. IFS believes that within all of us are several parts that embody the ages in which we learned to believe certain things about ourselves, life, 

relationships, and the world around us.

No part of you is out to harm you or make things difficult. Not your critic, not your saboteur, not even what you see as most dysfunctional within.

All of these parts of you actually have good intentions! When we bring our curiosity to them, we discover they have valuable information to share about how to move and process what has kept us stuck, opening us up to

new ways of being. 

WALK & TALK THERAPY

Providing a natural alternative to conventional therapy. Taking the session outdoors and incorporating movement has been evidenced to enrich the counselling experience.

ANXIETY & DEPRESSION

While we often think we are coming to therapy to feel better, we actually need to get better at feeling. There are many different approaches to navigating these debilitating states and our work together can help you discern the best path.
